Airbus resumes operations in Spain

At the end of last March, Airbus had stopped production at its Spanish plants. This Monday, April 13, it resumed work under a series of safety conditions.

Production resumed at the Seville and Cadiz plants, followed by the Madrid and Castilla La Mancha plants yesterday. As agreed in the royal decree, the activity is being carried out under the established health and safety measures.

To this end, daily shifts have been agreed upon in order to reduce the number of people in each section. In addition, a time margin has been established between the end of work of one person and the start of another: from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., in order to carry out hygiene and cleaning tasks.

For those employees who are within the risk groups, it has been communicated that they will continue to operate from home as far as possible. In the event that they do not have the necessary means, they will need a doctor's certificate in order to be able to take sick leave.
