American Airlines reconnects Spain and the U.S.

American Airlines has established a direct daily flight between Barajas Airport (Madrid) and Dallas Forth Worth Airport (Texas). The flight began operating on May 7, after a long period of disconnection.

With this operation, Spanish travelers who present a justified reason and documentation in order will be able to fly to the United States on a direct flight from Madrid.

However, those passengers who decide to travel with the American airline will have to wear face masks as of May 11, while inside the cabin. In addition, the airline will hand out disinfectant wipes before take-off and during the flight. Cleaning has also been intensified in the busiest areas such as boarding gates, sales counters, traveler service counters, baggage service offices and lounges.

In addition, the American airline has eliminated additional change fees on tickets purchased until May 31, 2020 and has strengthened its lolyalty program for frequent flyers.
